Thank you for accepting our invitation to share your expertise at the forthcoming Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) National Scientific Congress (NSC) to be held at the Darwin Convention Centre 6-9 September 2024.
Invited Speaker Agreement
Please complete the form to confirm your participation and to provide the relevant details for us to be able to facilitate and promote your involvement in this year’s ASA NSC including
- biography for our session chairs to use during introductions at the start of each session. This information will also be displayed in our event app for all attendees.
- the title and a short session description, as you would like this to appear in NSC marketing materials

All speakers and facilitators have the opportunity to donate to a Congress-nominated charity or receive a gift as a thank you for your participation in our program. We look forward to having you join us at the Darwin Convention Centre and working with you towards a successful Congress.

The Northern Territory has almost twice the amount of mental health patients per capita than the Australian average and the lowest number of services; Two Two One Mental Health Charity provides practical and tailored mental health training and services fitting the diversity of the Territory. Sacha King, director of Two Two One, was the 2023 NT Local Hero nominee and one of the speakers at our meeting
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) or Doctors without Borders provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.
Lifebox addresses critical gaps in surgical safety through tools, training, and partnerships. They focus on three core pillars of safer surgery – improving anesthesia safety, reducing surgical infection, and strengthening surgical teamwork. So far, this approach has made surgery safer for 181 million patients around the world.
World Federation of Societies of Anesthesiologists offers Fellowships to anaesthesiologists from low and middle-income countries to increase their skillset and become leaders for anaesthesia once they return to their home countries.
Registration
The success of any scientific program undoubtedly relies heavily on the dedication of colleagues like you, who generously contribute your time to prepare and present. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide financial support for attending the meeting. This invitation to present does not include coverage for travel, parking, or accommodation costs. Regarding registration, if you wish to attend the remainder of the NSC, we recommend taking advantage of early bird discounts. Alternatively, if you prefer not to attend the entire conference, we can arrange a pass for your specific session only.
